URGENT UPDATE 2011 LTSC CHALLENGE CUP CANCELLED Coach/Manager/Players/Parents, It is with immense regret and disappointment that we are sending this email, especially since it is currently sunny and 73 degrees. We must cancel the 2011 LTSC Challenge Cup. Baltimore County Recreation & Parks has decided to close all LTSC tournament fields for the weekend and Loyola University is closing their Ridley Athletic Complex on Sunday. The forecast for the weekend seems to be deteriorating and the track of Hurricane Irene is heading for Maryland. However, with our luck, as soon as we send this email, the hurricane will miraculously disappear. The safety of your families and participants are of utmost concern to us. We will honor our commitment to you by shipping out all coach gifts, as well as all pre-ordered t-shirts, in the coming week. In addition, we will provide refunds to all teams, minus expenses, in accordance with our policy. As an added bonus, we are providing all 2011 registered teams a credit towards the registration fees for the 2012 LTSC Challenge Cup. Please be patient with us as we work through the details of this. We will send another follow up email to you next week with the exact amount of the refund and credit. We hope you will consider joining us next year for the 2012 13th annual Challenge Cup and that you tell/invite a friend! Thank you for all of your support, patience and flexibility with us over the past few weeks/months. We look forward to seeing all of you on the soccer fields this season. In partnership with Loyola University, we will continue to host the LTSC Challenge Cup nights for all Challenge Cup participants: Friday Oct 14 for girls teams; Saturday Oct 15 for boys team.
